If you’ve never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck.
how do i bypass factory amp to install aftermarket stereo. can i use the factory speakers?
Paul, in order for you to bypass the factory amp, you would have to run new wires to all your speakers and replace all your speakers. The factory speakers run on a different ohm rating or impedance that is not compatible with your aftermarket radio. Aftermarket radios run on a 4 ohm rating but your factory speakers do not. Hope this helps. Good luck with your radio installation.
