is it safe to say the most common issue with Mercedes sound system is the radio and fader switch control in console? I am trying to diagnose a 1995 Mercedes 320e that has full range output for the split seconds the radio is turned on then treble fades away and only muffled mid range plays. Fader is scratchy when using and when balanced left to right there is no sound out of rear pass. Speaker but when centered plays muffled like the rest. When I unplug the speaker connections behind the radio only the front right pops to show me it’s amplified but not the others and radio is centered and flat. Any advice or input would be helpful. Thanks, Eddie.
