  1. Peter, most late model cars do not have rca plugs on the back of their factory radios. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  2. Drefus, the front speakers measure 4″ x 6″ with a 1/2″ depth and the rear speakers measure 4″ x 6″ with a 1/2″ depth. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1994 Chevrolet Silverado speaker installation.

  3. what color is the remote wire? my aftermarket radio does not have any sound, but it has power. i was told i need to wire the remote wire so i get sound, but im not sure what color it is or where it is at?

  4. I am having serious problems with my battery always going dead since my bf put a 750 watt amp in my 94 silverado…now, my deck will not power on. its a clarion cz209. kind of old, i know. my amp and its cool little knob up front and the converter thing all have power, and i looked at the wiring and all i can tell is that it is a mess. please give me some help. there are two fuses to the deck, and they both “look” fine, but i am no expert. one day it worked, the next day it didnt after my battery was totally drained and i had to give myself a jump. the amp is wired directly to the battery also. is that normal???

  5. Heather, first make sure your car battery is holding a charge by getting it tested by your local auto parts store. If you car battery is not holding a charge, we suggest you get a deep cycle battery. A deep cycle battery will give you more battery power and charge faster while providing twice the life span of a conventional battery. If your battery is in good condition, we advise you to get your alternator checked out at your local auto parts store. If your alternator is only putting out 11 volts, it may be starting to fail. A good alternator should put out between 13 volts to 15 volts. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 1994 Chevrolet Silverado stereo troubleshooting.
