    Clark, the factory amplifier in your 1993 Lexus SC400 is located on the right side of the trunk behind the trim. Hope this helps. Good luck.

    per the dealer my amp shorted out, I just replaced it and the radio with oem nakamichi amp and radio. but I still don’t have power to the radio. I replaced the 20a fuse under the hood and the 7.5a fuse under the dash. Am I still missing a fuse or relay somewhere. I have power the the cd changer.

    Darryl, double check ALL your fuses and you’ll probably find a blown fuse somewhere. Sometimes when you short out your radio fuse, other fuses may also blow out. Hope this helps. Good luck.
