what color is the remote wire? I’m trying to hook up my amp.
Jeron, technically you could connect your 1987 Pontiac 6000 amplifier turn on wire to the radio switched 12v+ wire. That way your amplifier is on whenever your 1987 Pontiac 6000 is on and off whenever your 1987 Pontiac 6000 is off. Just make sure to run an in-line fuse holder with a 1-amp fuse on the amplifier turn on wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your amplifier install.
